The test contains 32 typical tasks (parts “Reading” and “Use of language”).
Evaluation of participants' answers will be carried out according to the system points calculation, similar to the one used in the external examination. Points will be calculated as follows:
Evaluation criteria:
- Tasks with the choice of one correct answer:1 test point for each correct answer.
- Matching task:1 test point for each correct match.
- Task for filling in the gaps in the text:1 test point for each correct match filling in the blanks.
Participants can receive from 0 to 30 points for completing English language tasks.

What will be the topics for NMT in English 2026?
The test contains two parts: Reading tasks, which assess comprehension and analysis of texts, and Use of English tasks, which check knowledge of vocabulary and grammar in context. What will be on the NMT in English?
The exam tasks will cover only two sections: Reading and Use of Language. The test will not include listening and extended writing tasks.
What is the level of English on NMT?
UTSOYAO noted that the test will contain tasks of the level provided for by the current foreign language foreign language examination program. The most difficult tasks will correspond to the B2 level, and most of the questions will be at the B1 level.
How many tasks on the NMT in English?
