How much time is needed to prepare for the EVI in English?

It depends on your current level of knowledge and desired outcome. We recommend starting preparation for the EVI in English at least a few months before the exam to cover all necessary topics. What level of English is required for the EVI?

The EVI program is developed according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and corresponds to levels B1–B2. This means that to successfully pass the exam, you need to be comfortable with grammar, have a good vocabulary, and understand basic language structures at an intermediate (B1) level or higher.

How many points do you need to score on the EVI?

The minimum passing score for the unified entrance exam in foreign languages is 5 test points out of 30 possible. This is the minimum number of points needed to pass the exam. However, a significantly higher score may be required to enter a specific educational institution, so it is important to aim for the highest score possible.

What is needed for online learning?

For effective online learning, you will need a computer or laptop with internet access, headphones with a microphone for quality communication with the teacher, and a comfortable place to study.
